One of the biggest questions around Animula Nook is simple: where can you actually play it? The good news is that the game is shaping up to be one of the most widely available cozy games in years — confirmed on multiple major platforms, with more potentially on the way.

PC (Windows)
Animula Nook is confirmed for PC, with releases on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Steam page is already live and accepting wishlists — it briefly hit the top of Steam’s free-to-play trending charts after the game was announced.
PC players on Windows will have a full-featured experience, and if early footage is anything to go by, the game looks gorgeous on a larger screen.
Mac
Mac support is confirmed alongside the Windows PC version. This is a welcome move for a genre that has always had a strong macOS following — cozy game fans on Apple hardware won’t be left out.
Nintendo Switch 2
Animula Nook is confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2, making it one of the first cozy life sims announced for Nintendo’s new console. This is a natural fit: the miniature, charming aesthetic of the game suits portable play perfectly, and Switch 2 owners looking for their next obsession should have this on their radar.
PlayStation 5
PS5 support is confirmed, which is significant — console players outside the Nintendo ecosystem will be able to enjoy the full Animula Nook experience on their TVs.
What About Cross-Play?
Cross-play between platforms has not been officially confirmed yet. Given that the game spans PC, console, and potentially mobile, cross-platform multiplayer would be a major feature — but Tencent hasn’t made any announcements on this front.

What About Mobile?
A mobile version has not been officially confirmed. The alpha test and every officially announced platform so far have been PC and console — Tencent has not committed to iOS or Android releases, and no mobile system requirements have been published.
Given that the developer already runs a mobile-heavy portfolio, a mobile version is plausible down the line, but treat it as unconfirmed until there’s an official announcement. We’ll update this page the moment mobile is confirmed.
