Starmates (星友足) are the Animula Nook race that most closely resembles humans — friendly, approachable and full of heart. They are the most familiar faces you will meet in Minietopia, and five of them have been officially revealed so far.
The design inspiration came from the concept of “imaginary friends from childhood” — those secret companions who might live under a pillow, hide in a wardrobe, or perch in a corner of the garden. Born from wishes, with companionship at their core.

Dilli (滴栗)
The very first Minie ever created — and the heart of the whole world. Dilli wears the uniform of the Starside Association as a brand-new intern, wide-eyed and full of heart. She embodies that feeling of being new to everything: eager, a little lost, but quietly giving it everything she’s got.
She’s been with Animula Nook from the very beginning. Ask anyone on the dev team — they’ll know exactly who she is. A true mascot, for the team and for Minietopia.
Dilly
An eager intern who dreams of joining the Starside. She’s memorised every page of the Star Officer exam materials by heart. Unfortunately, everyone only seems to notice her awkward slip-ups in public, overlooking the countless nights of effort she’s poured in behind the scenes.
But to judge a book by its cover — that’s its own kind of slip-up.
Vandi
A tiny artistic genius who cannot stop doodling. Her creativity sparkles like a bouquet of Baby’s Breath. She despises anything that stifles her inspiration and absolutely dreads running into Minies with no sense of aesthetics.
If she does, she might just chase them down with a paintbrush, shouting: “Let me show you what real art looks like!”
If you love to draw too, do not try to copy her. Remember, Vandi has a professional cleaner’s licence — and you do not!
Pompus
Always hiding in the grass, softly reminding everyone to watch their step. The moment you notice him, his ears turn bright red. Though shy enough to want to disappear, he quietly remembers every little quirk and habit of his friends.
Miss Roland
A devoted teacher who’s always saying “Just five more minutes!” With chalk in hand and lesson plans at the ready, she quietly nurtures everyone’s growth.
She might get a little chatty now and then, but deep down, she truly believes you’re the best class she’s ever taught.
What is still unrevealed
Because Animula Nook has not launched, no gameplay stats, abilities or friendship reward tables have been published for any Starmate. Gift preferences, dialogue trees and story quests were only partly visible in the March 2026 PC alpha and have not been officially documented. We will add them here once the developers confirm them — not before.
